Indo-German Summit Of Young Professionals
On December 18, 2024, the “Indo-German Summit of Young Professionals” was held at the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry of the University of Cologne. This special event was organized by the research group of Prof. Dr. Sanjay Mathur in collaboration with the Indian Embassy in Berlin. Marking the 50th anniversary of Indo-German research and technology cooperation, the event aimed to foster networking and support for young Indian professionals in Germany.

A key outcome of the event was the foundation of ASPIRE – Association for Promotion of Indo-European Science and Technology Alliances. This organization aims to promote multilateral collaborations between European researchers and industries with Indian partners. Additionally, it will coordinate and consolidate the activities of young professionals within the Indian diaspora.
